Raising the Bar on Compliance, Culture and Conduct – Who’s responsible?

The Network in association with the Institute of Banking and the ACOI would like to invite you to attend a free breakfast briefing on the 3 June 2015 from 7.45 am until 8.50 am. Light refreshments will be provided. The briefing will take place in the Institute of Banking , 1 North Wall Quay, IFSC, Dublin 1

Post the financial crisis many commentators and institutions now talk about the importance of compliance, culture and conduct. But who is responsible, who are the stakeholders and what are they doing to raise the bar or is it all just more talk and ticking the box. This talk will highlight the role various stakeholders can and do play in raising that bar and also address some of the key indicators to what good “could” look like when talking about compliance, culture and conduct.


Clive Kelly is General Manager and Executive Director of Partner Re Ireland Insurance Ltd. Clive teaches on a number of programmes for the IOB: Executive Masters in Risk Management, MSC in Compliance, MSC Banking, Graduate Diploma In Financial Services etc. As well as speaking on the IOB’s Bank Director Programme Clive has written and contributed on text books on the topics of Insurance, Compliance and Risk Management. Clive is also a Director and Vice Chair of the ACOI.
