In Irish workplaces, women fall behind early and continue to lose ground with every step. The 30% Club Ireland Financial Services Sub Committee report, Making the Change Count, revealed that in the sector women represent 54% of the workforce 4 levels below CEO but representation falls significantly at each subsequent stage of the career ladder with only 28% at 1 level below CEO and 13% at CEO level.

Working together, leading together, ultimately leads to better results for all.  While women fight against inequality, they can’t create a more equitable workplace on their own. Engaging male colleagues in changing workplace culture is crucial to success; men need men to be a part of the conversation and the solution.

Learning outcomes

On conclusion of the workshop, participants should have an enhanced appreciation of:

  • The fundamental differences between the male and female leadership journey
  • How to address the unique challenges faced by women in the workplace
  • The components of individual leadership styles and how to be authentic yet effective

Who is the course for

This one day workshop is designed for ambitious women and the men who support them, seeking to improve gender balance in the financial services sector.
